We have approximately 540 students – all in the 9th-12th grades – and they understand that going to school every day is their number one priority and their daily job. They take the responsibility seriously as they strive to live up to our school’s Code of Conduct and excel academically and personally.

Since coming to school is every student's daily job, and because they want to have successful and productive lives after high school, Santa Cruz students understand that they must develop the proper business ethics, morality, and behavior of esteemed men and women in our society. To support this ideal, we endorse and live by the pillars of Character Counts! They are:

Trustworthiness

• Be honest--don't deceive, cheatn or steal.
• Be reliable--do what you say you'll do.

• Do what you are supposed to do.
